Good Morning!! This card is Round #6 of the Unidentified Images Swap. Thank You Linda for such a cute image!! I really enjoyed making this card!!
I colored my image with Copic Markers, and mounted the image on foam tape to add dimension to the card. The word FRIENDS is from a set I have of stamps regarding friendship. The edging is done with a punch I had here for a project. Ribbon with footprints and fire hydrants is also some I had left from that project. Inside is a verse, "thanks for being my friend". Friendship is so very important! This card was such fun to make!! Again - Thank You Linda for hostessing this round and sending such a cute image!!

LET IT SNOW!! Round #5 of the Unidentified Image swap was hosted by Jeanette Cloyd (Forest Ranger). The image she used fit in SO well with this season - the image is from Darcie, the set it is from is Peekin' Snowman. I used Copics to color my image - B00, E29, E40, G29, R46, RV10, V12, Y17, and YR04. I also put clear glitter glue on the snowman, snow falling, and snow on the ground. DP with snowflakes on it is in the background, then a shape was cut with a template on Bazzil Cardstock that had raised dots and was placed on the background. The image was then placed on the shaped piece. An area of the card is cut off, so the front is a " flap" on the end. The Cardstock used for the card is PTI White. Under the "flap" is a small piece of light blue Cardstock with raised white dots (resembling snowflakes) on it. Then, I placed a glittery ribbon down the center, placing on the ribbon a saying Jeanette had sent us. ENJOY!!

Oh, this Unidentified Image Swap #3 has been such fun! Since I've been hostess this round, I get everyone's cards!! Anyway, Here is the card I made. The image used is the House Mouse image, Take Time to Smell the Flowers. I used Copics to color the image - colors E000, E31, E71, G10, and RV14. I framed the stamped image with dark green cardstock; then used DP with one side cut out with Nestabilities, and the other side as the background piece.Foam pieces were used to make a more defined layered look. Also, a small flower was used on the stem of the image, with the flower colored with RV14. Cardstock used for the card was SU Daffodil Delight.

This round, the Unidentified Swap was hosted ny Kelly Santi. The image Kelly sent us to use is from Kraftin' Kimmie stamps, and is called "Florence". So cute!! And what a perfect image for this time of year! I colored "Florence" with Copic markers, I used the following: E000 for skin; E29, E18, and E25 for hair; RV09 and V01 for the dress; V04 for the hairband; V17 & C7 for the sunglasses; and RV23 and V01 for the socks. I cut the image out after coloring it, and placed it on sandpaper to imitate the beach sand. DPs are layered in back of the sandpaper, and I used Crystal Effects on the sunglass lenses. The phrase was stamped with Rich Cocoa Memento Ink on Neptune CS, and was then placed over We R Memory Keepers Baker's Twine. Also, the image and phrase were elevated from the CS using foam tape, to help with the 3-D effect of the card. Enjoy the beach!

I made this card for the 1st of the Unidentified Image Swaps. Barb (barbaralynn - SCS) sent the same images to all of us in teh swap - this was interesting to see how each person did their card.
The image she sent us was from GinaK, from the set Spring Has Sprung.
I colored the image with Copic Markers. The duck is colored with Y04, the bill is Y17, and the inside of the mouth is colored with R24.
The water is colored with BG01.
The umbrella is colored with R46, the handle of the umbrella is colored with C9.

I used a circle cutter with a scalloped edge to cut the one side of the image in scallops, the Bazzill cardstock I used underneath is cut the same way. Straight edges to the remaining 3 sides.
The Cardstock from Bazzill was also used with my Cuttlebug folder for the area of raised dots.

The phrase I used I thought was fitting for this image. Ribbon was cut and placed under the phrase, as well as SU ribbon was used over the cardstock and d/p to cover raw edges.

FINALLY!! I'm posting!! Sorry it's been so long since I posted!

This post , I was asked to be a Guest Designer for this month on the Dueling Darlings. The kit was sent to me to make this card, with the idea to make a card with something you would NOT wear on it. So.....

The image used is from American Art Stamp (Body By); and it made me think of previous years in my life. Copics were used to color the image. In the background, I made a pattern of blocks, with a color band down the middle - similar to a quilt. That's why the word REMEMBER is used - remember those times. I would not wear a quilt to a party! Of course, the brad used is a coffee cup as these ladies are drinking coffee while they eat cookies and ponder.... and the DP used with chocolate chips is so good to frame the image with since cookies are in the image!

I've really enjoyed being a Guest Designer this month!!

And I promise not to wait so long between posts on my blog!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEB!!

This is the next-to-the-last blog in the Blog Hop we've been having for Deb's birthday. What fun it has been! There are 7 blogs before this one in the hop - you should have been to all of them. The blog previous to this one is Donelda's Blog - Wiggy's World. If you missed it, you need to back up to it:

Sooo... we heard that Deb's favorite color is GREEN. My card has a LOT of green in it.

I used the image, Gavin the Giving Dragon from High Hopes. Gavin is bringing presents to Deb for her birthday. I used Copic pens to color the image, using colors B02, B29, G12, RV14, RV17, V04, Y28, YG03, and Y45. He is cut out and mounted on YoYo Yellow cardstock, that is then mounted on Brilliant Blue Textured cardstock, Some presents are pasted on the ribbon under his picture. Small "bling" stars are on the outer circle of cardstock.

Inside of the card, you will see another High Hopes stamp, Birthday Fish. This image is also colored with Copics; colors B000, Bg10, BG18, and YR68 were used on this image. Clear Glitter Glue is used on the bubbles in the water in this image.

In the final section of this card - the lower part of the inside - I have used more High Hopes images for the Birthday Cake and candles seperate from the cake image. Copics were used to color all images, and numbers B24, B32, B41, G0000, G05, RV29, Y02, and Y35. Clear Glitter Glue is used on the candle flames to highlight them. The cake is cut out and mounted on Bright Pink cardstock, and then on a larger circle of green cardstock. Small "bling" stars are on the outer circle.

The candles that are seperate from the cake image were also colored with Copics, numbers B24, G07, G12. R27, Y02, Y35, and YG45. Again, Clear Glitter Glue is used for highlighting the flames.
The verse on this page is SO appropriate - Make A Wish!

Next, go to Deb's blog and wish her Happy Birthday!!
